eBilling Information for

Students and Parents/Family

 

Monthly student account bills are available electronically in the form of an eBill. eBills can be accessed by both Students and Parents & Family via Wolverine Access. Each eBill is a PDF file that can be viewed on-line, printed, or even saved to your computer for future reference. The 12 most recent eBills are available through Wolverine Access. eBill Access for Students

Students will receive a monthly email notification sent to their UMICH email account when the eBill is ready for viewing and printing.

Students will view/print their monthly eBill through Wolverine Access as follows:

  1. Go to Wolverine Access
  2. Select Student Business
  3. Log on to Wolverine Access using your U of M UMICH login/kerberos password.
  4. Select View Bills under Financial Information.
  5. Select the month you wish to view.

 

 

 

eBill Access For Parents & Family

Students can authorize up to 4 other individuals to receive access to the their eBill (as well as other on-line account information). Parents/Family can view/print eBills through Wolverine Access when the following steps are completed:

Step 1: Student designates Email address(es)

The student will designate an eMail address(es) to receive electronic access to his/her University of Michigan student account eBill/information. To designate an eMail address, the student would:

  • Go To Wolverine Access
  • Select Student Business
  • Log on to Wolverine Access using their U of M UMICH uniqname and kerberos password.
  • Select Parents/Family Authorization located under Personal Information.
  • Enter email address and select My Student Account Data under Wolverine Access Authorization.

A confirmation email will be sent to the Parents & Family email address once the student has granted access to their student account eBill/information. The confirmation email will contain a link to allow the Parent/Family designee to establish a U of M "Friend" account.

Step 2: Create Secure Login

The authorized Parent/Family member MUST create a U of M “Friend” login (a secure login to U of M computer system) IF he/she does not have an existing UMICH uniqname . If he/she does have a valid UMICH uniqname, the UMICH uniqname can be entered in Step 1 above by the student and a “Friend” account would not need to be created. Step 3: eMail Received When Statement Is Produced

Each email address designated by the student will receive an email notification when the student’s eBill is available each time an eBill is generated. A monthly eBill is generated only when the student has an account balance or has had activity on his/her student account during the billing period.

Step 4: Login To View/Print eBill

Once the eMail is received indicating that an eBill has been produced, the Parent/Family member will be directed to Wolverine Access to view/print the eBill using the secure login created in step 2 or their U of M UMICH uniqname. To access the student's account eBill follow the steps listed below:

  • Go to Wolverine Access
  • Select My Student's Information under Parents & Family
  • Login using Friend or UMICH uniqname
  • Select View Bills
    • Please note: If the Parent/Family designee has been given access to more than one student's account data, each student authorized will be listed. Choose the student to be viewed and then select View Bills.
  • Select the month you wish to view/print.

Printing Tip: It may be necessary to adjust the Adobe Acrobat default print settings so that the bill prints correctly.

    • When remitting payment by mail, please be sure that the student's full name and UMID number are written on the front of the check. This will insure prompt posting of the payment.
